About Us

 While growing up south of Walker, Kansas, Danny's love of flying was evident. He became a private pilot in 1988 just shortly after he and Bobbie were married. He attended K-State in Salina completing his instrument and commercial licenses. Later, he was a flight instructor at K-State and in Hays.  Always looking for a new adventure, he learned to fly aerobatics in a by-plane and became a glider pilot. This ongoing passion for adventure and flight led him to the Ag Aviation Industry.  These days when he isn't spraying or visiting with a customer he is spending time with his grandchildren. It look like he is passing the "flying bug" on to another generation. 

 Bobbie grew up in WaKeeney, Kansas but had family roots in Hays. She spent summers on the her grandfather's farm gathering eggs, helping feed cattle, and riding horses. Bobbie went to Fort Hays State University and became a teacher. She taught in the Hays school district for 31 years before recently retiring. Now with more time to devote to High Plains Aerial, Bobbie is looking forward to working directly with our customers in Ellis and Ness Counties more often.
